VETERAN PATHWAYS

Offering a New Vision for Civilian Life

WHO WE ARE

We are a nonprofit dedicated to the principle that once you serve this country, you ought to have the chance to make the best of the skills you have developed and the benefits you have earned. Government can do much to help our veterans, but we believe that ordinary private citizens — like ourselves — owe no less obligation to our brave servicemembers.

WAYS WE HELP

The Focus of Our Efforts

ONE-ON-ONE COUNSELING

Without the chance to see  — and have a real discussion on — all the options available to them, it is difficult to say that we are giving our veterans the best chance to succeed in the civilian world. Through our continual counseling services, we aim to add a little personalization to this process that can be so isolating.

PROVIDING EMPLOYMENT LEADS

We believe that the most effective way to support our veterans outside of government is not to compete with other nonprofits and programs but build from them.  We want to offer our veterans the best services they can access — whether or not we provide them. There are countless foundations across this country dedicated to supporting our military community, and we want to make sure each servicemember — and their family — is aware of and has access to them. Furthermore, there are many employers — from state governments to large private corporations — that see veteran status as a positive asset. We want to serve as a bridge between our veterans and these jobs.

APPLICATION SUPPORT

Federal employment programs for veterans can be hard to understand and work through alone. We endeavor to work with each veteran throughout the entire process, by assisting with everything from form submission to interview preparation. No veteran should have to forgo the employment benefits they earned just because it is difficult to navigate it by oneself. Moreover, as the college admissions process continues to evolve, we must attempt to provide some support system to our veterans, even if means that we simply ensure that all their application components are successfully submitted and their G.I. Bill is applied.
